Jubilee Audio-Visual Project
As part of this year’s Village Festival we would like to produce
an audio-visual project on the theme of “60 Years in Witchford”.
The intention will be to collate imagery and spoken word
portraying village life over the last 60 years. In particular we
would like:
Village Photographs:
Displaying past and present scenes, everyday life, people, places
and memories. These might be historical photos, or ones you may
want to take specifically for the display, portraits, events etc.
Audio-Histories:
We will be looking for volunteers to record a few words about the
village. These may be memories, anecdotes, why you moved to the
village etc. Whether your family has been here for generations or
whether you have just moved into the village, we’d love to hear
from you. We will then arrange to meet up and record your
thoughts.
We will digitise the photographs and project them as part of a
presentation on to a large screen, accompanied by the
audio-history soundtrack.
